A Man’s Packing Checklist For Your Honeymoon
You have probably just experienced one of the most stressful days of your life but also one of the best. A wedding is a great experience as you are spending the day with the love of your life and committing your love to your partner.
However, you are about to experience the best holiday of your life as well. The honeymoon is a chance to escape with your partner to a country far away from home. Furthermore, it is a place where you forget about work and freedom from the kids if you have any.
Packing for your honeymoon should not be stressful if you give yourself plenty of time. Do not be one of those couples who leave it to the last minute, as you will be stressed if you do that. Nonetheless, packing for your honeymoon is just like packing for a normal holiday. Here is a guide to packing for that special honeymoon.
First, Your Carry-On Bag
This is the bag that you need when you are boarding the airplane. There are a few things that you will need to keep yourselves entertained on the flight. Flights can be very boring, especially if it is a long journey. There is nothing worse than sitting on a flight waiting to land with nothing to do, especially with you having no access to the internet.
For the flight, you will need the essential items that you need to board the plane. This includes your flight passes and your passports. You will also need a visa if this is required for the country that you are flying to. Another thing that you will need is your bank card or money for the flight. This is so you can purchase food and drink whilst you are on your travels, very important for those 3+ hour-long flights.
Now, the entertainment for the flight. You will already have your phone with you and if you have a smartphone, we suggest downloading a film or your favorite TV show. If films and television series are not your particular thing then make sure you bring a book or a magazine with you.
Finally, bring a pair of earphones with you so you can listen to music to drown out those crying children on the flight. If you can sleep on a flight, make sure that you bring a neck pillow with you. Your plane journey will soon fly by (no pun intended) when you have one of those. You may also need some earplugs if you are planning on sleeping during your journey.
Packing Your Suitcase
Treat your honeymoon like a normal holiday, but a more romantic one. You need to pack all of the important clothing and toiletry items that you need for this. If you are going to a hot country, make sure you bring a few pairs of shorts along with some t-shirts. Maybe even your favorite men’s twin set.
You will also need a few shirts in case you plan on going out for an evening meal. It all depends on what your personal preference is for those later evenings. Another thing you will need is a couple of pairs of trainers, along with trainer socks. Don’t forget your pairs of sandals or sliders. Don’t forget your underwear either, make sure you have a couple of extra pairs for this, just in case.
Toiletry Bag
Again, you need to pack all of your essential toiletry bag items. This includes your shower gel, hair shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, aftershave, deodorant, and other items that you use on a day-to-day basis.
One that you should always remember when you are flying abroad is that you need travel-sized products or else you will not be able to take them with you. Don’t forget your sunscreen and after sun as well if you are going to a hot country although you can usually buy this over there upon your arrival.
