The new Atelier collection by Pronovias features rich fabrics and handcrafted techniques that create dresses that truly are works of art (some of which take more than 40 hours to make). Silk, Chantilly lace, French lace and chiffon all feature heavily in the collection. Brides choosing these gowns will feel like princesses, knowing that they are wearing unique, exclusive creations where every last detail receives the most painstaking care and attention.
With autumn just around the corner, I thought I would put together a total “Romantic chic” look. To do this I chose “Yanguas“, a shirt-style wedding dress in rebrodé lace with soutage. The V-neck and short sleeves are an ideal choice for the transition between the summer heat and the cool of autumn because brides won’t need to wear a cape, jacket or bolero to cover their shoulders. The flared skirt with a split at the front (adjustable with a zip) is marvellously stylish and gives a feminine touch to the silhouette, subtly emphasising feminine curves.
However, what most captivates me about this style is the embroidered organza belt with bead embroidery in gold, silver and pearl and a gorgeous bow at the back, which cinches the waist and adds a touch of unique sophistication to the outfit.
This dress requires few accessories, but among the options available are these magnificent gold sandals by Pura López, a rigid gold bangle by Tiffany and some subtle earnings by Tous which don’t detract from the neckline. When it comes to hairstyles, why not experiment with a low bun or a half-up, half down style adorned with one of Suma Cruz’s three headdresses, which I think look perfect with this dress. A bouquet in ochre tones is an ideal accessory for this romantic look. What do you think?
